Aggressive prostate cancer causing genes found!

Previously , researchers discovered a gene called BRCA2 are associated with lowered breast cancer and ovarian cancer . But not only that , this gene is also associated with the emergence of aggressive prostate cancer .

Researchers found that men who have the BRCA2 gene are more likely to get prostate cancer and have a higher risk of developing aggressive tumors . Not only that , men with BRCA2 genes also are less likely to survive the tumor and cancer .

About one in 100 men are expected to have a BRCA2 mutation . Researchers found men with this genetic mutation should be treated if it is to survive life , as reported by the BBC ( 09 / 04 ) .

Men who have the BRCA2 gene and cancer or malignant tumor is still likely to survive after undergoing therapy or surgery as soon as possible when the tumor or cancer is still in its early stages , according to the Journal of Clinical Oncology .

Prostate cancer can grow very slowly or even very fast . This is the one that is difficult to predict by the researchers . Some men do not show symptoms until a long time despite having prostate cancer or a tumor develops .

For many prostate cancer patients , treatment may not be required quickly . However, for men who have the BRCA2 gene , should be getting treatment to save their lives , before the cancer becomes more severe .
