Tomatoes Reduce The Risk Of Breast Cancer - Protect Against Cancer
It has long been known that postmenopausal women are at a higher risk of breast cancer. However, a recent study published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism reveal a pattern of eating that is enriched with tomatoes can reduce those risks.
The study led by Rutgers University of the Llanos Adana, United States, analyze post-menopausal women 70 for a period of 20 weeks. In the first 10 weeks participants are kindly requested to follow the pattern of a diet rich in tomatoes with a consumption of 25 milligrams daily. The rest of the other 10 weeks, the women were required to follow a diet rich in soy with a minimal consumption of 40 grams per day. Previously, all participants are asked to refrain from mengosumsi or soy products tomatoes in the two weeks before the meal is done.
