Alert, Women Smokers Exposed to Colon Cancer Risk

EFFECTS of smoking one of which is to increase the risk of cancer . And this risk can occur in all male and female smokers .

Currently researchers found a high risk to the smokers especially for women with cancer , especially colon cancer . Women who never smoked had a nearly 20 percent increased risk for colon cancer , compared with women who had never smoked , as reported by everydayhealth .

" Women who smoke even 10 or less per day can also increase their risk for colon cancer , " said researcher Dr. Inger Gram , a professor in the department of community medicine at the University of Tromso in Norway .

Colon cancer is cancer related to smoking . The WHO said the long-term effects of smoking doubled the risk of developing colon cancer for women . It also increases the risk of bladder disorders and pancreatic cancer .

" Smoking is toxic to our body , this is a cause of death and the number one trigger of the disease in the world , " said Gram .
