Beware , the lipstick contains cancer-causing material
Lipstick can indeed beautify your lips . But stay alert , because it contains materials that are not ' pretty' . Research conducted by UC Berkeley found levels of harmful metals such as aluminum , chromium , cadmium , and others in lipstick .

Some lipstick products are also known to contain a very high amount of chromium . Substance chromium is a known carcinogen that can cause lung cancer and gastric tumors . Approximately 75 percent of the samples studied lipstick containing lead are also very high .
" Finding metal substances in lipstick is not a problem . Problem is the amount contained therein . Several very high metal content that it can cause adverse effects to health in a long time , " said lead researcher S Katharine Hammond .
