Curing Prostate Cancer , Enough with Vegetables and Fruit ?

Charles Trevino ( 65 ) , was first diagnosed with prostate cancer early last year after a routine medical tests . Despite the fact that prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men , treatment for this disease , such as surgery or radiation , often with devastating side effects .

Once enrolled 200 patients nationwide since its launch in 2011 , the study focused on one simple goal that men in the early stages of prostate cancer to increase the intake of fruit and vegetables . Participants receive nutrition counseling approach when performing ' active surveillance ' to monitor their disease with the hope that healthy eating will help slow the progression of cancer .

Dr. Kim said that the study has not been proven , but he has to do , and it is not yet fully validated . But five years ago , approximately 90 percent of prostate cancer patients decreased prostatectomy or radiation treatment to rid yourself of this disease .
