Forward increasingly treatment, testicular cancer is No Longer Deadly
Technological advances in the field of cancer treatment increases the chances of survival of cancer patients alias scrotal testes. At least up to 10 years after diagnosis, the patient's chances of survival in testicular cancer was 96 percent.
Compared with the 1970's era that figure reached 70 percent, the increase in life expectancy is arguably testicular cancer patients has increased. Although there is a possibility of recurrence, this increase indicates that the treatment has been more effective.
Cancer Research UK revealed one factor that drives the more effective treatment of testicular cancer is the development of cisplatin. The drug has been widely used in the treatment of chemotherapy for testicular cancer.
Findings and drug development is considered as an innovation that shines in the field of cancer treatment. Dr Harpal Kumar from Cancer Researck UK said, this development suggests that the chances of recovery of all types of cancer is more wide open.
"But it's important to remember the 4 percent who did not survive, as the fact that we need more treatment basih friendly in the future," said Dr. Kumar was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail, Tuesday (30/07/2013).
Testicular cancer affects around 2,300 people in the UK each year. In contrast to other types of cancer, a rare type of cancer is more common in young men between the ages of 15 to 49 years.
The men are encouraged to not consider trivial if you find a lump or swelling in the testicle. Although not all lumps mean cancer, but it is very important to check the symptoms so as not to be late if it is a symptom of cancer
