Found, the molecules that Indicate the spread of breast cancer
A
team of scientists in Queensland, Australia, has identified a key
molecule that indicates whether breast cancer will spread in a woman and
how fast.
QIMR
researchers Berghofer said team, the molecule is lost on most of the
aggressive cancer, giving physicians a valuable diagnostic tool again.
Breast
cancer is the most common cancer in women, the chances of his recovery
depends on when the cancer is diagnosed and how fast the cancer that
spread to other body organs.
QIMR Berghofer spokesman, Dr Nicole Cloonan, said, these findings will help give a clearer prognosis for breast cancer patients.
He
also said, hopefully this will pave the way for better treatment for
aggressive cancers such as cancer of the liver, stomach, skin and brain.
"It is such a small fragment of the gene," he said.
Fragments
found were operating as a mobile emergency brakes and ensure the cells
can reproduce and make sure everything remains under control.
"But
when fragments of it no longer exists, then cells start to become
uncontrollably and an aggressive cancer became available."
Dr. Cloonan says, it's very important to beat breast cancer.
"In most breast cancer, we know that women don't die of cancer," he said.
"But when the cancer spread to other parts of the body, the result is very bad."
Allegedly,
after identifying these genes, scientists can identify with hopefully
better cancer-cancer that might be spread quickly.
Dr. Cloonan says, this means, patients also did not require too much care, if they are not very aggressive cancer.
The research was published in the RNA, The Journal's website.
