Warning For Women, Obesity Can Trigger Cancer Uterus

Cervical cancer can be brushed aside expectations for young women who are not married, or who want to add a child.

Cancer foundations in the state of Victoria, Australia, found an increasing number of young women diagnosed with cancer of the uterus or womb.

Increased uterine cancer are caused by obesity among women.

Obesity has increased the production of estrogen, the body of substances that trigger the growth of cancer in the uterus. "Diganosa cervical cancer can be a sad thing for those who are not married, or who are planning to add a child," said Deb Stringer of The Cancer Council of Victoria.

For women under 45 years old who suffered from cervical cancer, life expectancy is 95 percent.
