Sunlight has long been known to contain vitamin D which is good for the skin and prevent cancer . This was reinforced by a study which revealed that women who spend an average of three hours a day under the glare of the sun , can lower the risk of breast cancer by 50 percent .

As reported by the Daily Star , the researchers from the University of Toronto noted , exposure to sunlight stimulates the production of vitamin . And exposed to the spotlight in the sun for 21 hours a week in April to October , can double the risk of tumors .
